Experience the vibrant traditions of the Hornbill Festival, trek through the breathtaking landscapes of Dzukou Valley, explore peaceful Dzuleke and discover the heritage of Khonoma on this immersive six-day journey through Nagaland.
Discover Nagaland through a journey that combines its biggest cultural celebration with some of its most beautiful natural and traditional landscapes.
Begin your adventure from Dimapur and travel through Kohima towards Kigwema, your base near the Hornbill Festival venue at Kisama. Spend your days experiencing colourful cultural performances, traditional Morungs, indigenous crafts, local food and the festive atmosphere that brings communities from across Nagaland together.
Then exchange the festival crowds for the mountains as you trek into Dzukou Valley. Walk through rolling hills, camp amidst the wilderness, enjoy a bonfire and experience stargazing beneath the open mountain sky.
The journey concludes with visits to Dzuleke and Khonoma, where peaceful countryside, riverside landscapes, traditional Angami houses and stories of conservation and warrior heritage offer a deeper understanding of Nagaland.
